December 15, 2005 WHAT'S HAPPENING AT MASON'S TRAINS ... The long awaited CNR #6218 (4-8-4 Northern) is finally ready for shipment to its owner. Its final commissioning to steam will be held at Ardrie, Alberta, dates will be announced soon. On line and nearing completion: 4-6-2 Pacific for a customer in Arkansas. 2-6-0 Mogul for a customer from Richland, Washington. two 3-Truck Shays for Canadian customers. 0-4-0 Switcher for a customer in Hamilton, Montana. The Royal Blue Train #2850 is on track for the spring of 2007. The train itself is ready for painting and the engine is slowly being machined and assembled. This is a wonderful project to recreate and we will keep you posted on its development. Nothing happening here with the Kootenay Live Steamers club as I have had pneumonia for the last 2 months and been to busy making engines!!! Until next year ... keep steamin'! Howie Mason
